Aion item patcher

Aion item patcher was a small, self-described “not that useful” Aion tool from the old code blog.

What it did

• Repacked files inside .pak, Aion’s data file format.
• Found client_items.xml inside the archive.
• Modified that XML in memory based on input files.
• Saved the modified file back out.

The original note said a few examples came with the archive, including one for trading Dark Poeta items if the tool was run directly in the Aion item folder. It also warned that this would not work when server-side checks blocked the change.
